"White Cat on Windowsill, Red Wall" shows a cream and white cat seated on a red sill, back to the viewer, head turned toward the dark glass. The cat is built up in thick white paint over warm ochre outlines, raised enough to catch the light. Around it, a four-pane window with dusty pink trim and near-black panes sits inside a red wall scrubbed with lighter reds and pinks.
The strong red and the single pale figure make this one of the more graphic pieces in the group. It pairs with the black cat paintings or works alone in an entry or hallway.

Substrates
Works on paper are created using archival quality papers and boards, such as, mixed media paper, Yuppo, and illustration board.
Display and Framing
All works on paper come with an archival quality matte with a foam core backing within an acetate free clear sleeve.
I choose a matte that is in a size that will be easy to find a frame for.
These can be displayed as is or removed from their clear sleeve and dropped into a ready made frame.
Since these works are on paper they are not varnished and should be protected behind glass or acrylic within a frame or left in the acetate free sleeve.
