Layered Poppy Dreams – Textured Floral Art Collection

When I step into my garden, there is a moment when light pours through the petals of the poppies, making them appear to glow from within. This moment—the way the colors layer and shift in the sunlight—inspired my series, "Layered Poppy Dreams."

Each piece is created gradually, petal by petal, using layers of acrylic paint on cradled hardboard. This process captures the feeling of delicate strength. Rich pinks, bold reds, and deep magentas emerge from textured brushstrokes, reflecting the subtle variations in color from flower to flower.

My goal with this series was to showcase the complexity of a mass grouping of poppy flowers, highlighting how the blooms, buds, and foliage come together to create a beautiful chaos of composition. 

I aim to bring the essence of the garden indoors, allowing you to feel that same light and color blooming on your walls. Whether displayed as a striking single piece or as a vibrant grouping, these paintings are designed to infuse your space with a sense of natural beauty
